Milson Insurance's Community Outreach Program serves the needs of civic and social groups, community-minded businesses, and non-profit community organizations. Local community organizations, low-income housing entities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, community based residential facilities can all benefit from this Community Outreach Program. The program's goal is to work in partnership with community organizations in order to provide Medicare health plan information and to assist the organization's members or residents with their Medicare insurance needs.

Background:
Merrill grew up in East De Pere, WI. He attended UW - Madison and UW - Green Bay, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He started in the insurance business in the early 1990’s. After obtaining his WI insurance license in 1995, Merrill’s professional career focused on senior life and health insurance plans. In the late 1990’s, Merrill enrolled many members of the Wisconsin Retired Educators Association in long term care insurance plans through an association partnership program. For the majority of his professional career, Merrill worked in Green Bay at a national insurance brokerage agency, where he marketed Medicare health plans, Medicare supplement plans, and final expense whole life plans to insurance agents living throughout the country. Subsequently, he served as a sales associate for a large Green Bay insurance agency, before establishing Milson Insurance. Merrill has plans to continue his independent agency for many years to come. In his leisure time, Merrill enjoys kayaking and camping, vacationing in northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s UP, bike-riding, bird-watching, photographing wildlife, and his 2 standard poodles and 2 cats. He serves as secretary on the board of the Oconto Sportsmen's Club, he's a member of the Village of Bellevue's Adult Program Committee, and he's a member of the Oconto Area Chamber of Commerce. Merrill lives with his wife in Oconto, WI.
